an urban cinema located on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv.
Imagine you're walking down the street, and suddenly you come across a bench with a cool QR code sticker on it. When this happens, scan the code, sit back comfortably, and press play.
The films at Alenby Cinema tell small stories that have happened on the street over the years, and they are based on local poetry and personal stories.

Fritz (Ze'ev) Grünbaum, a Jewish opera singer, lived in Vienna. In 1929, at the age of 40, he decided to immigrate to Israel. When he arrived in Tel Aviv, he wanted to pursue his greatest passion, which was singing opera. Unable to find work, he decided to sell hot dogs on the steps of the opera house in the hope that someone would notice him and offer him a chance to perform in the opera.  For 25 years, Fritz came to the Magen David Square, in front of the opera building, every day to sell hot dogs and sing opera.

"My beautiful, make-up girl,
Do not wash off the smell of the night from your flesh,
Do not zip buttons on the hood
Do not cover with a morning scarf
For the bites of our love for you..'

"A lot of colors and a lot of plastic, a lot of music in the eardrum
Everything is a rhythm from love to hate
Everything is cold robotic multiple movements to eat the moment at once
What has gone will never come back..."
